Most of it is open-box: the original buyer set it up, decided it wasn't for them, and returned it.
Anything in this category gets a power-on and app-pairing test before listing. If a device needs to be reset out of a previous account, we do that before it ships. We note the subscription requirements (Ring Protect, Nest Aware, etc.) in the listing so you know what's needed to use the device fully.
