Condition Guide
Every listing includes a condition grade plus a transparency badge that tells you who set that grade.
Inspected vs. As-is — what those badges mean
We source most of our inventory through liquidation auctions and retail-return channels. Those sources set their own condition labels, and they don't always get them right. So we're honest about which items we've personally verified and which ones we're passing through with the source's label intact.
- ✓ Inspected by A&J — A real human on our team opened the item, checked it against the listed condition, and signed off. If we say it's Like New, we've looked at it.
- As-is — We haven't personally inspected this one yet. The condition grade is whatever our source listed it as — treat it as a hint, not a guarantee. Sold as-is. If you're unsure, ask us before you buy — we'll send extra photos or check on it.
Either badge, our 14-day return policy still applies if the item arrives significantly different from how it's listed.

Fair

- Photos will show all major flaws
As-Is
- Sold without warranty of functionality
- May or may not work — we don't guarantee it
- Sometimes used for parts/repair listings
- Read the description carefully and look at the photos
What's Always True
- We photograph the actual item you'll receive — no stock photos
- We disclose every flaw we know about — for inspected items that's based on our own check, for as-is items that's based on what the source reported
- If an item arrives significantly different from the listing, you're protected by our returns policy
- On items we've inspected, we grade conservatively — when in doubt, we list a step lower
